When you’re a little messed up on drugs you feel kind of silly about tearfully calling your alleged assailant(s) “these monsters” to the first human-looking thing you come across, but you really don’t care that much because you’re also feeling relatively safe and you aren’t in the frame of mind to give much thought to who might be a disingenuous, pain addicted cokehead or how long ago he might’ve started tripping hard balls in the woods with a suicidal burn-scarred midget, a hot mental patient, and a recently evicted drunk and left them there to die.
