In this romantic-comedy, Toni Collette and Cameron Diaz star as two sisters that are in the midst of changing their lives via shoes, mostly Collette’s. From dads, to mothers to friends, the amount of personalities in this film is amazing and relatable and you will enjoy this movie. “In Her Shoes” shows us how it’s never too late to find yourself and how to forgive one another. Ah, my sister has over 100 pairs of shoes, but dang she’s a size 7; can you say shoe-a-holic?

Do you like cheese? Well have a seat and I’ll serve you a plate full. With a title like LUNATICS: A LOVE STORY, how can you fail to be nothing but dairy product? So this movie is a cult classic, who doesn’t secretly love those kinds of flicks? Its just that this one might be a bit odder than most. Reminding one of an acid trip more than a movie with a plot, it takes the viewer on a strange journey into the life of Ted Raimi, who plays Hank Stone, a writer who has locked himself in his apartment for fear of evil doctors, spiders, and other hallucinations.Feeling a bit lonely, Hank dials a party line. Accidentally, maybe because he uses too much lube when he is alone, he dials the pay phone just below his apartment and asks Nancy, played by Deborah Foreman, to come up and join him. She isn’t on the up and up either. Plagued by her own naive personality and a heavy oversized leather jacket, she just lost her boyfriend, and is being chased by a gang. Funny, whenever that happens to me, I end up answering a ringing pay phone and go to the address the person on the other line tells me to. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

What do you get when you combine a skittish Serbian, with a clean cut American construction designer? A movie that doesn’t deserve color even if they had it back then! Irena Dubrovna meets Oliver Reed in a zoo where no one has heard of natural habitats. The animals pace back and forth across concrete floors waiting for entertainment, and apparently so do the chicks. Trying to sketch a panther, and realizing she isn’t making the grade, we find this eco-aware woman to be no basketball star. Missing the garbage with her famous 3 point shot, she catches her beau who chastises her for littering. Funny, it didn’t seem to help since she rips up another sketch, and another leaving it on the ground to blow away.
